Benefit #8 — Worship

Behold, this is our God; we have waited for him, that he might save us. This is the Eternal; we have waited for him; let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation. Isaiah 25:9

Hallelujah! Salvation belongs to you, O God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb! As true worshipers we worship you, Father, in spirit and truth, for you sought us for such worship. While we were enemies you reconciled us to yourself by the death of your Son. Much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. You saved us from the penalty of our sin. And now, by your Spirit, you are saving us from the power of the sin in us. Furthermore, you protect us by your power through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. You have not turned away from doing good to us. Indeed, you put fear of you in our hearts, so we will not turn from you. Worthy are you, O Christ, for by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and you have made us a kingdom and priests to our God, so we will one day reign on the earth. The salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and your authority as his Christ will come, for our accuser, who accuses us day and night before our God, will be thrown down. Satan may be sifting us, but you are saving us; and greater are you in us than he who is in the world. Together we cry, “Hallelujah! Salvation belongs to our God!” Amen and Amen!
